Battery Life draining fast on my google pixel XL

[Android Central Question]

When I go into my settings it says no apps are to blame but from full charge I only have 3 hours of battery life tops and most of the time it'll just randomly die anywhere from about 90% to 50% but usually it'll randomly just die at around 70% for seemingly no good reason. I have a feeling it has something to do with the most recent OS update as this was never a problem before I installed that.

Sounds like you need a new battery.

If you go to settings/System/Advanced/System update, does it look like this?

That's what was killing my battery. From just under three days per charge down to about 5½ hours. The reason I've signed up for AndroidCentral is to see if anyone can help. (Pixel 2 XL)
