Battery life draining like crazy

I have a D855 updated to Lollipop. My battery drains extremely quickly. Usually on KitKat I'd wake up at 7 am, come back home at 5 PM with around 30-40% left. Now at around 12 PM my phone's dead. This is not normal.

Things I have tried:

Factory reset
Remove SD Card

I really need a solution because it is not normal. Otherwise, I will simply have to sell my G3 and get my self something that will actually hold a charge.

Around 50%. But still trust me, I've tried setting my screen on lowest brightness. Sometimes I don't even use my phone for like 3-4 hours and I see like 15-20% drain, doesn't make sense.

Settings/Battery/Battery usage and scroll down to Battery use details: what consumes the most power?

I think what Rayfire meant was, what do your battery stats show to be the main users of charge. There may be something going on which those stats would indicate.

Edit: Posted same moment as above.

The G3 is obviously capable to perform, battery-wise, what you require. Lollipop just introduces some odd hurdles that drain battery more than I've ever seen in KitKat.

A little digging and you'll find the culprit.

That is why I am not upgrading to lollipop. Battery life. My brother in law upgraded. Now gets 4 hours battery life. He's going mental. I did tell him.

If he's only getting 4hrs of time on it there's something major wrong with it. I just got 3.5hrs screen time and 15hrs total. That's better then my s5 active.

I can routinely get 5.0 hours SOT with Lollipop (AOSP ROM). It's mosreso the user than the software.

S5 active should be able to get 6 hours SOT vs G3 with 4 hours with stock ROM's. My friend is able to reach 5 hours with 100% brightness and I get 4 hours with 40% brightness at same kind usage.

That's impressive. 100% brightness?
