Battery Life Expectations

Hi folks. What are your current battery levels since updating? Mine is at 90 percent still. I'm going to not charge it until tonight and see what happens.

Probably tripled. Ive never had a single Android phone get me ALL DAY battery life. Finally, after getting Pie on my ATT Note 9 I am.

Previously I'd unplug from the charger about 830. And by noon, with only moderate use I'd be close to 35-40%.

Today, I unplugged at 0745 and currently sitting at 13%. That's with about 3 hours of SOT. So I'm pleased to say the least

dont forget with adaptive battery now on pie might take a week to learn usage pattern and see even better battery life.

Not sure yet. I haven't seen a big improvement so far. It's still far superior to my S8+. I keep 2 chargers in my back pack and I have barely used them since I upgraded.

mine has dropped slightly, I always charge my phone before bed and take it off the charger at 11pm when I wake at 0630 its usually on 94% before pie it was always on 97% or 98%.
during the day I have the feeling screen time has decreased a lot .
I may be wrong but I have always had better battery life using a phone with the version of android the phone was shipped with than what I have after an update

I'm still uncertain whether it's better after the Pie update. My GSam battery monitor average( 8 hours 56 minutes) is at its lowest right now since I bought the phone 10 weeks ago. It's 2215 HRS and I have 41% battery capacity left with screen on time(from battery usage in SETTINGS) of 5 hours 50 minutes so far. I left the house with 97% 15 hours ago.
