AC Question

I have an LG G4. About 20 days ago its battery life started dropping dramatically, to the point at which it wouldn't charge. I ordered a new set of batteries and a battary charger hoping that would fix the problem. Only shortly after getting the new batteries the same thing is happening. (Instead of every 5 or 6 minutes, a percent is going down every minute now). I generally notice that when battery is draining fast, the area near the camera starts getting very warm. Any clue what might be causing this problem? Thank you.

🙋First, back up everything while you still can. The processor is near the camera, and you may be on the verge of bootlooping trouble.

It may not be that, or any other hardware problem, so what do your battery usage stats indicate as using that charge, when you're down from 100% to about 40%?

When I have had this it has turned out to be a "runaway" app. As Belodion suggests above check the battery stats after it has run down and you should see the culprit there.
