Watched it on YouTube. I don't remember anyone saying it's above average. I think I saw it on UrAverageConsumer channel for example.

Mine mate 9 gets 7 hours sot with some heavy usage too, keep in mind that SOT is not the best indication, as it can be fooled

Yeah I was referring to the active version which has the larger battery

Yes I did, though on my note 8. Works great, I just long press the home button on the aod screen and it unlocks the phone

It should work for all Android. Whether or not you need to swipe though I think depends on the manufacturer. Samsung does not require it though

That's fine, I am just saying that there's a way to get it to work good. Just not sure if other manufacturers implemented it.

Of course. I might consider getting a samsung. they finally got rid of the front fps. but theyre current placement is horrible
