Battery Life on CDMA vs. GSM?

I was just in a Verizon store and the customer service representative said that all Verizon phones now are unlocked and can be used on GSM networks. He specifically said that you can take the phone to any country outside of the US that has GSM and plug in a nano-sim and it'll work. The only thing is he said that Verizon uses different technology than AT&T/T-Mobile, so the Maxx won't work on those networks. From what I am hearing, that is not true and the MAXX will work on AT&T/T-Mobile, just without LTE. Thought I'd pass that along.

They just don't want you to take their stuff to another carrier... But yes, it works fine aside from LTE support for those two.
