I really like Cyanogen, it just an awesome Rom. I thought we could have a thread with our setup (Kernel and options) and our battery life. But only Cyanogen users.

I was getting between 15 - 18 hrs battery life on CM

Snap Kernel 7.6 Turbo Enabled

No Set CPU

Just let it do its thing...

Heavy use I typically get 12-15hr on lighter days I get 20-28hrs. CM6.1 with stock kernel, SetCPU OC to 1152mhz when battery is over 50%.

What do you consider heavy? I'm a heavy user with stock and don't get nearly that much.

I get at least 12 with heavy use, as in YouTube, angry birds, texting, pulling email, and browsing.

Can get 20 with moderate use.

Stock kernel, underclocked when screen is off with setcpu.

Sounds good. What do you have it underclocked too?

I have it set to 998 max and 245 min on the main screen with ondemand gov. Then in profiles, i have it set so when the screen is off its underclcoked to 245 max and 245 min, powersave gov. Simple really. :D

IMO, standby is great. Using it for long periods of time.... not that great. It's a fair balance and it gets me through the day easily. I don't game much so my regular usage is texting, voice calls, tapatalk, Google reader, twitter feed, Live Scores, Beautiful Weather, Gmail, and Email polling every hour... I get 12-15 hours easily all on EVDO. No WIFI. I average 3 hours of display time and about an hour of voice calls daily.

Thanks alot.

my battery life is in the **** hole.... i use it as my daily driver everyday ROM and im always carrying a charger and/or spare battery. it drains like crazy.

i stick with it because of its reliable performance and all the nuances built in that i have become accustomed too.

anyways, medium-heavy user and i can kill a battery in 3 hours, easy. thats my story.

Same here! how the hell are you guys getting even 10+hours then alone 15-20... I guess everyones "heavy use" is different... but with browsing occasionally and pocket legends and often times ebay and google reader i can barely swing 8hrs...

I am using a 1750 mAh Seidio battery with CM 6.1 w/ stock kernel. SetCPU is OCed to 1113 ondemand and have it set to 245 min/max when the screen is off. I adjusted all my Twitter, Facebook, and weather updates to 4 hours. Also set wi-fi sleep to never. The other day I got 1day 10hrs with moderate use. I am loving CM 6.1 so far!
