Battery life REALLY sucks

Stock uprooted with no special apps and no alterations. Heavy to moderate usage with stock battery. I played some games streamed Pandora and made some phone calls ans text. Was still above 50%. Don't ask how I did it, I didn't do anything lol. Either I got a battery from God or some people either ovverexggerate or are too heavy. I love my rezound

sent from my htc rezound. haters gonna hate.

Curious. You state it was still over 50% and show a screenshot of the battery at 39%. WTF?

Too funny.

look again... the display is using 39% of the battery... if you look at the little battery icon in the notification bar, it seems to be about half full.

Makes sense that it lasted long, as you are not accessing the LTE or even 3G radio because you're on WiFi. I should have specified that I am on a mix of 4G and Wifi during my described activities.

The HTC gets hot and starts discharging quickly minutes after switching off Wifi.

Actually im only on wi-fi at home. When im at work or class im on 4G. I was on wifi for maybe 1-3 hours at that point during the day

Then I am impressed, maybe I got a bad Rezound? It seems my battery issues are not widespread.

Just for comparison, I am using a GNex for the last few days on a custom rom. I am at 80% battery after 4 hours. The Rezound would usually be hovering around 40% at this hour. So Nexus used 20% so far and my Rezound uses 60% or more by now.

Something is very wrong with HTC battery management. If I can, I am going to sell the Rezound and get what I consider to be a lesser phone, the GNex.

I will miss so much about the Rezound, but I can't do this battery swapping all day.

Yeah I'm at about 46% after 4 hours and I haven't even done anything yet besides browse thru Facebook a couple times. I did have GPS and 4G on with auto-brightness enabled. I am also using Go Launcher if that means anything. Push notifications are also on.

I stand corrected, it was probably my own HTC device, I got a good deal on a swap on craigslist (even trade but my Rezound had 3 OEM batteries) for GNex. I miss the Rezound's size, other than that I am quite happy. They are both excellent devices!
