The Nexus with the OEM extended battery would give me 2 hours max of onscreen time if I was lucky. The S3 gives me closer to 4 hours of on screen time. That is the only way to really measure battery efficiency. People saying they get 8 hours or 2 days means nothing. Someone saying with heavy use or medium use varies between people's opinions.
How long you will actually be able to use your device is where it really counts. Also, this is on 4G. Who knows how much batter it performs if on 3G or wifi only. For me, 4 hours of onscreen time is more then enough to make it through a normal day. The GNEX battery life was one of the worst I have used. My wife's Rezound with a 1650mAh (I think) battery lasted as long as my GNEX with an 2100mAh battery. How that can be possible I have no clue.
