Well at least for me. Check out the 2 screen shots of my battery screen on time. It's inline with how much battery I have when I leave work too Screen on time has declined dramatically vs S24 Ultra!!!!

Anybody else upgrading from the 24 Ultra? Also the battery is warmer when watching a video per the CPU-z app. 24.9 degrees Celsius for the S24 Ultra vs about 26.5 degrees for the S25 UltraScreenshot_20250221_182412_GSam Battery Monitor.jpgScreenshot_20250221_182247_GSam Battery Monitor.jpg

I only have to charge overnight after 3 days with this phone. My S22 I had to charge every night as it would be a little under 50%. I am not a heavy user obviously, also I used Smartswitch which others seem to blame on poor battery.

I personally have zero time nor the interest in downloading apps like this. I'm going to trust my actual experience more than some stats provided by some third party app.

As far as my experience coming from S24 Ultra, it's been an upgrade in every area including battery life. I haven't seen my phone getting hot or anything at least with my daily usage. I'm also not measuring temperature and other things using some apps.

Just going thru my daily usage, S25 Ultra is a fun phone to use and gets me thru the day without any issues. My S24 Ultra also had no problem getting me thru the day. That's the only metric which is important to me. Can the phone get thru the day and some, without me worrying, baby sitting, and turning off features from a $1000 phone. Both S24 and S25 Ultra did that without any trouble.

I agree with this 100%.

Saw a YouTube video testing the S25U battery against top flagship devices (one being iPhone). Iphone gave more time overall but it was only about 30 minutes tops. The S25U did very well.

The battery on this device is an absolute beast. I feel the OP had buyer's remorse and wasn't going to be happy no matter what with the S25U, which is fine but the vast majority of those here are happy with the device, at least I know that I am so far.

My only gripe is with Samsung overpromising and under delivering when it comes to timely updates.

Mine not best either but haven't had an update til today and usually gets good after an update or two.

I got the update yesterday morning and while battery still seems excellent I noticed something yesterday and this morning. My battery seemed to go down faster than normal in the afternoon. I was usually at about 70-80% at night and don't charge it. Yesterday I was at 60 % so charged overnight. This morning I use about 3 % in half an hour usually stays at about 99% when I check a couple of things. I noticed also out of the blue I was now getting notifications from Google weather and the Weather app which I never got before so wonder if the update did something as far as notifications.

Standby time hasn't been great. Today it went from 100 to 88 and I didn't once use the phone. Other phones I've had would've still been on like 95 under the same scenario. Hopefully this will change over time.
