battery life vs DX2 question

My wife got the D3 and I got the DX2 earlier this week. My wife's battery on her D3 runs out much quicker than mine on my DX2. I set both phones up, and the settings on both phones from what I can tell.

However when I go look at the battery usage, her top two are 'cell standby' at 29% and 'phone idle' at 24%

While on my DX2 the 'cell standby' is at 7% and 'phone idle' at 5%

Can anyone shed some light on this, or point me in the right direction?

have done a couple of things since posting this

first: dialed *228 and chose option 2
second: did this - [How-To] Better battery life, reduce Time Without Signal. - xda-developers
her radio was on a different setting from mine

i will report back if her battery life gets better

Even with this radio thing, it seems the d3 gets better battery life than pretty much any other stock android device. Can only get better from here.
I love being able to go a full day without having to worry about finding a charger.
