Yes I do recall that. I also recall that alot of people complaining about battery drain were AT&T customers.

Coming from the S10 to the regular S21 I am noticing a huge difference in battery life. On the S10 it estimated almost 18hrs of battery life where the S21 is estimating only 10hrs. I notice the difference too. Just from light browsing I can see the battery percentage go down by 1% every other minute or so. Even after 2 years with the S10 my battery would last until 5 or 6pm.

Shouldn't I be getting better battery life with this display? I checked all settings and everything is set up the same as my old phone.

Another thing is the S21 doesn't charge nearly as fast as the S10 does.

Trash phone. 🗑️ Take the opportunity to return it and get your money back. No sense in living with a disappointing phone.

I've been getting great battery life so far since 2nd update last week. Even using 120hz at QHD battery has been very good. Yesterday I had 14 hours on battery with 4 hours SOT, 59% left by 5pm. Have had no overheating either although I've got a strange issue whereby my screen dims when I use maps. I don't have auto brightness on either

The battery is bigger on the S21 so it is going to take longer. Browsing the web you should not see that 1% drop every minute. You got something setup bad on your phone if that is the case. I'd go through it and check all settings.

I went from the S10 to S21+. The battery life on my S10 was pretty good even after 2 years. I'm getting about 2 days of battery life on my phone averaging about 4hrs screen time. I'm happy with the upgrade and the battery life.

I noticed a huge difference in just not using the Chrome browser. I had it active for 13 minutes and 16% of the battery was used up - I switched to another browser and in 15 minutes use only 1% of the battery had been used. Quite a difference.

It's still early days for me but days 1 and 2 I was a bit Concerned that battery life wasn't as good as I hoped. Today seems much better.

How much is due to me not fiddling with it as much is hard to say!!!

With 120hz on, S21 Ultra, I am getting the same or battery life than Note 20 ultra with 120hz off.
Yup, same here, SM-G998U1 using 120Hz, WQHD, 5G, AoD, location tracking, etc. After six days now, GSam says I'm averaging 22+ hours per charge, with 6+ hours of screen time. For me, that's the best battery life of any phone yet.

S21 on the left. S20 on the right. S20 is much better. Considering returning S21......

I've never seen 6 hours SOT from a phone. After mine settles in I'll start keeping an eye on it for comparison sake.

Also coming from the s10 to the s21 ultra and the tremendous difference is in favor of the ultra. Is certainly due in part to the s10 being 2yrs old but I don't recall getting through so much of my day with so much of the battery left

I have a S21 and am happy with my battery . I think each person's usage impacts the results that they get.Screenshot_20210202-194200_Device%20care.jpg

That's GSam's extrapolation given how much charge is left when I put the phone on its charger for the night. Maximum actual screen time during a day has been a little over 5 hours.
