Battery Life

I heard the oddest thing a few day ago from a CS rep. He said that he was getting terrible battery life on his android device and his IT brother told him to download Avast and let it run. Claimed his battery life improved significantly. Anyone else heard this?

I can't imagine how Virus scan would increase battery life unless it kills tasks as well.

My thoughts exactamentally...I use Juice Defender from the Tbolt days. I might try it...what could it hurt.

There are at least several threads on bad battery life. I was having major battery issues but now after disabling things that don't need to be running I'm very happy with my Rezound

Deb, I don't disable much and get 16-24 hours on a charge with Juice Defender set on extreme. I am very happy.
