battery life

YES, Being a owner of a Tbolt that has LTE I find turning it off and running 3x save alot of battery, when in LTE mode (within signal) it uses more
Since we have battery issues with tbolts I rarely run LTE

Well, this phone has a second generation LTE modem - the MDM9615 qualcomm chip -- which has less power draw than first gen chipsets like in the thunderbolt.

Awesome. Is it a noticeable difference?

Sure, but all other things are not equal between the DNA and the thunderbolt, i.e. screen resolution, battery, processor, etc. So we will have to wait and see. But I suspect when compared to the Thunderbolt and its measly 1400 mAh battery, the DNA should be a decent improvement.
