I started wearing the watch at 6 am this morning. Not too much in the way of notifications. It's now 5 PM and I'm down to 34% battery. Does that seem off to you? My Moto 360 wasn't doing as badly

The first day or so my battery seemed to drain quickly. Yesterday (day 4) it was at 27% after wearing from 7:30am until 10:30pm. Let it settle in a bit over a few charge cycles.

Mine has rarely gone below 50% after a full day (which, for me, begins at around 4:30 AM and ends at about 9:30 PM.

Keep in mind that the single biggest battery killer most people will encounter is the bad choice of watch face. A watch face which always shows the seconds (whether with a second hand, a blinking colon, an advancing perimeter wheel, whatever) will consume huge amounts of battery. See https://developer.android.com/training/wearables/watch-faces/performance.html

I am thinking of replacing my moto 360 for the Urban. How's the battery life finally ? Is it worth it ?

I have ambient mode on, gets over 200 notifications each day from 4 different email account. Initially the battery life was not so great, however for the past few days after a typical 16 hours day, the battery usually is still above 40%. I do have the cloud sync turned off.

Hmmm did not think to let it settle, yesterday was first day with it on and it was at 10% by 3pm. Started with it at 6am.

Today charged to max and when checked on Android wear app it said 98% battery with 8hrs left. Just did a factory reset , hope it improves

I like to use WatchMaker Premium Ed. get the watch face I like then use the app to customise removing unrequired layers and backgrounds, most of which are not noticed like charcoal backgrounds in stead of black/blank, or very subtle shadows etc. Also change the dimmed face to just a pair of hands and hour markers.

I get about 2-3 days on a single charge depending on usage. Good enough for me, I'm rarely without a plug for power. This watch charges pretty fast too. Using the Ranger watch face, which does not have a second hand or seconds count. It's a pretty sweet watch face
