Well my phone is a full two years old and unless you're going to fall apart you can't change internal built battery. The phone itself is great it's just the battery is not holding a charge for the day like it used to. I mean I love the huge screen watching movies on it etc...Mine is still good, but I am mostly in the office on wifi and I can charge whenever. My phone is a bit less than a year and a half, and I was thinking that around the 2 year mark I could replace the battery to give it another year of life. But I'm quite intimidated by changing the battery.
Well well. Good luck.check this out. I'm going to try it out this summer with my dad. He did it on his Nexus 5, so hopefully he'll be able to help.

Okay that's crazy!I discovered that an app I have liked and used for years is now the worst kind of battery hog and uninstalling it completely changed my (battery) life!
Clean Master claims to help with battery management, but the ads and popup notices sucked mine dry, with a 26% loss in 6 hours with wifi and BT off.
Removing it made EVERYTHING better.![]()
Okay that's crazy!
I suppose I'll have to try that myself.IKR!
Surprised the hell out of me. Now just using Ccleaner again.

You don't actually, I think I figured out besides my battery and what was causing my battery drain... He was Facebook / Facebook messenger. And the only reason that I know it does that work for Android Wear support but I barely if at all use Facebook messenger and I use Facebook a little bit so I just went back to the web version. I am charging my phone again and time will tell if that fixes the issue. I have a funny feeling that it will!Out of curiosity, what's the need for ccleaner? I often read not to use those kind of apps on android.

Yeah, that's the one thing I love about the Nexus 6 the turbocharging the fast quick charging. From dead battery to fully charge takes an hour flat. You can't beat that. So I'm trying texting without the Facebook ads today. I barely use them so not a big deal I barely checked Facebook and Facebook Messenger I never use. I just figured I would try it for a Moto 360 Android Wear apps but if it's going to kill my phone performance and phone battery it's not even worth it!My phone's less then a year old (Bought it @$300) so the battery lasts all day. Between fast charging and being in a vehicle all day, it's not an issue on any phone I use.

Sorry but I don't use that app.Anyone else find that Uber is a battery thief?
I signed up, never even used it, and starred seeing my battery percentage drop three to four percent just sitting in my pocket for 20 minutes.
Bye bye Uber.
