Battery life

So, if I were to buy the Nexus 6p and pair with my 2nd gen Moto 360 I let using voice typing all the time before it's like anyone else but with Android Wear will experience the same kind of Battery drain with the Nexus 6p as I do now with the Nexus 6? Thank you for all the suggestions and ideas.

It doesn't drop enough to be concerned. But it is more than my 6s Plus. A couple percentages points or so. Versus I'm using my 6s plus and it still didn't drop a percentage yet.

Funny thing is the last few days Doze doesn't seem to be working properly. When I'm sleeping or the phone isn't in use, I don't see the flat line as I'd expect...I'll keep an eye on it.

Android N actually improved battery life for me with the more aggressive Doze. I gained an hour more SOT after updating

See, I wondered about signal strength in relation to Doze. I don't have good signal in my area so we have Network Extenders in our home. It's a 3G signal but the signal level is usually between -65 to -82dBm, so it's a good signal and it usually spends around 90% of it's time under that signal level. The reason I bring up Doze is that when I look at my battery stats, and look at the signal levels when Doze is running, the signal level is shown as red, which makes sense since during that time, it should essentially he in airplane mode. But looking at it I can't help but wonder if that the reason I don't get great battery life.

My average battery life is around 16-28 hours on a charge and around 3-3.5 hours SOT. The other day it ran down to 9% battery remaining. So I added up all of the mAh of the apps using battery and it came out to around 1270mAh. The reason I question it is that he battery capacity is 3400mAh, so is my battery shot and I'm only running on around 1300mAh total capacity, or is that normal? I would think that the total amount of mAh used should be the same as the total battery capacity, or at least close to it, but in my case it's less than half of the total capacity. Does that sound normal to anyone?

I should add that I don't use Light flow, I'm stock, unrooted (never have rooted or rommed any of my devices) haven't done any Android N previews, and my top battery users are screen 7%, Chrome 5%, Android OS 2%, Android system 2%, phone idle 2%, Google services 1%, cell standby 1%, and WiFi 1%, in that order. So there's really nothing out of the ordinary, and the percentages don't even add up to 100% or anywhere near it. There's only a few other apps on the battery list and none of them are over 1%. I've been off the charger since 8:30pm last night and it's 10:30am now, with 35% battery remaining. My SOT is 2H50ms and brightness is set to around 60-75%. Looking at my signal level, during the times it's in the red, my battery drop is flat (Doze), and it is green otherwise. If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it as it is really puzzling me.

Like I said in my above post, my Doze appears to be working correctly, it just acts like I don't have the full 3400mAh battery capacity to start out with. I'm wondering if my battery is shot.
