Battery Life

So, I upgraded from the S3 to the S7 about 6 months ago and was totally blown away by how much faster the phone charged and how long the battery lasted.

But, now both features have certainly slowed down. I have added a Gmail count reader since then as well the Venmo app, but could such apps really slow down the phone that much?

Any suggestions or ideas?

I have data saver on, battery saver on medium. Screen on HD.. Nothing is allowed to synch automatically. I'm a heavy user and still get a decent day out of the battery.

Thanks...I have battery sever on medium as well..what is data server? How do I make sure nothing is allowed to sync automatically.

How can I tell which apps are taking up most of my battery?
