Battery mod with stock rom...

Sounds like a plan. I'm back home now with easier access to my normal home computer (and better internet connections), so things are easier for me to try now.

Below is a kind of trial mod. It includes all the mods I have working with Odexed roms. This has been tested with the rooted OTA odexed rom.

This includes-

-Native 3G Tethering
-100% Battery Mod
-Centered Lockscreen Clock

Mod Installation Instructions
- Download - JRO03R-odex.battery.center.zip and place on the SDcard - Boot to recovery (power off, press and hold volume up + power -to bootloader, scroll to "recovery" and press power) - Perform a Nandroid Backup, this is a MUST - Wipe cache and dalvik cache (they are in different places in depending on recovery used) - Install Zip from SDcard (find the downloaded mod you downloaded from the first step) - Reboot and enjoy!

Battery mod looks good. Lock screen clock center does not appear to work, but I also am forced to have an unlock sequence (pattern in my case), so I don't know if that makes a difference. I can screenshot it if you want.

Yes please. I have never used pattern unlock so i dont know if it affects the lock screen.

Edit: Testing my self, the centered clock only work with the slide option lockscreen. Good catch! See folks, this is why we test :-)

Ok, cool. I'm not real bothered, I honestly didn't care too much about that particular mod. :)

I saw it, thanks. Pondering taking the time this weekend to go back to my last nandroid backup and apply just the battery and power menu mods. If I do that, then when I come back up with the system, restore from my (more recent) Titanium Backup, I shouldn't lose any data or anything, right?

No reason to restore. Just wipe caches again and flash the power menu mod. That will leave the battery intact and insert the new framework-res.apk and android.policy.jar. Do a nandroid backup to be safe but there should be no issues.
