Battery not charging

I recently replaced a USB port and in the setting it says it is not charging but yet it is by battery apps I have installed also the microphone does not work I have checked the connection and it is firmly secured to the USB power cable assymbly

There others that are more expert than myself, but this sounds like it could be the motherboard solder joints on the battery connector. This is the connector that the battery charger plug mates with. There are six solder joints that can crack. It could be any one or more of the six joints. Usually when the tablet is apart for charging issues those solder joints should be re-soldered.
