Who uses the battery percentage in the status bar? I typically keep it on but I was thinking I know it lasts a full day so why do I need to know exactly how much is left

Um, ok lol. I do. I think it's a really nice feature to have.

Agreed but sometimes it's good to know the exact amount left. Sometimes the bar can look like it's half full when you really have closer to 40%. You may not need to know exactly but for others it's beneficial for them to know the exact amount. Because in some cases it's a big difference depending on the situation and you need to know exactly. If you done need it then you dont need it. But it's good to have the ability to see it.

True but I find that I obsess over how quickly it'd draining if I actually see the number. If it's just an icon I can Guage and plug in if necessary. It's rare that I have to ration my battery life that much and know precisely how much is left

Wait question, I just got my S4 yesterday, how did you get the percentage in the status bar? an app or stock?

Not a fan of it because I hate seeing it stuck at 99%. It started bothering with Laptops & MacBooks.

It's stock, in a non-obvious menu setting that I'm sure someone will post in reply to this (my phone is upstairs and, well you know - don't judge me).

I use it, nice to see what my % is during the day in case I need top it off before I leave the office or charge while in the car.

Yeah I'd rather see the number than the guage alone, I like seeing the exact percentage of my battery

It was the best decision for me to take the percentage off. I was so obsessed before with how much battery I was dropping every other minute that it just became a nuisance. I kept thinking to myself omg I just dropped 2%, omg I just dropped another 5% that it was better for me not knowing. My phone has lasted me the full day pretty much everyday since I've had it so there was no need for me to obsess over how much battery power I was losing. Now if I really want to check the percentage I just go to settings or I just wave my hand over the sensors when the screen is off to check.

Me too, I just will CONSTANTLY look at it so I don't use it. Drives me absolutely nuts, lulz

I also like seeing the battery percentage. I'm glad the option is there.
