Battery percentage on or off

I recently turned the battery percentage in the status bar to help with battery anxiety. With all the press about the battery life being bad on the 4 series and coming from an iPhone I find that as I watch the % tick away I get worried about it lasting the whole day. So to help I removed the % and haven't looked back.

I'm going to do that i always have rh % showing. Going to try that. And my battery on the 4 xl has been exceptional but I'm constantly charging it for no reason haha

I have been doing that for over a year now on all of my phones. Turn off battery percentage and that's one of the best phone setting things I have done in a long time. Don't recall when I last worried about battery and that number going down. If the indicator is red I just charge or through out the day there are wireless charger etc.

But turning off battery percentage indeed removes the battery anxiety and relaxes your mind lol

The only phone I've turned off battery percentage was the UniHertz Titan

Other than that, switching it off increases my battery anxiety even more lol

I keep the % off but not for any other reason than it's my preference. The Pixel 4XL battery has been just fine for me despite what some would want you to believe. My use of the device is mostly business and in every aspect the device has been as advertised.

I usually have it on but I just turned it off to try it out. It's still showing at the bottom of the AOD so I can still keep tabs on it lol
