just trying to find out from you guys in the android universe if my galaxy s2 comes with a battery percentage or can i download one from the play store?

really would like to be able to see the battery percentage if possible.

thanks

Straight out of the box, no. There are any number of apps and widgets in the store that will do this. Just search "battery percentage".

I use ZDbox. It quite a clear one, too. Shows the percentage in the notification bar.

You don't need an app. Go to Settings >> Display >> More settings >> Display battery percentage. Check the box right next to it!

Hmm... I can't find a "more settings" option under the Display section. I'm on a sim free galaxy s2 international version on Android 4.0.3.

Mine is Vodafone UK branded on the firmware they have just released last week. It has the battery % as an option.

I did have the unbranded international firmware and it wasn't on there. Vodafone had released an updated firmware hence why I flashed that. :)
