Battery phone case, or cases that can handle wireless charging?

Which do you prefer? Having extra juice from the get-go, or a case that'll let you just place it down on a charging pad whenever needed?

I always use Otterbox Defender cases, and they work fine for wireless charging. Almost any TPU case is thin enough, though - I've tried a few and wireless charging works through all the ones I've tried (at random, and didn't keep a list).

Fair enough. I'm buying a Note 8 soon, as soon as I decide to pull the trigger on Swappa, and I love Otterbox for it's toughness overall. I'm just honestly wondering what works better for me-having a battery case so I have extra power right on hand, or just a regular one that allows for wireless charging. SInce the Note 8 is sealed, I imagine it works for wireless charging right out the gate?
