Battery physically stuck in LG G5

[Android Central Question]

I wanted to replace my battery and as I took it out only the base came off. The actual battery is still stuck inside the phone. What do I do?

Welcome to Android Central! Was the battery failing (i.e., draining quickly, not holding charge, getting warm easily)? If so, it might be swollen, causing it to get stuck. You should probably bring it to a repair shop to help remove it, since trying to grab it with some kind of tool to pull it out could cause damage and potential fire hazard.
