hello guys I have micromax canvas a1 I'm a very busy person so I often have to use my phone while charging and the problem is that whenever I use my phone while charging and start using an app it starts to discharging instead of charging it never happened to me before also my phone charges very slow I'm not sure what causing this problem and it all happened when I lost my original charger so I Bought a new one it wasn't that good the new charger was cheap so and I knew this charger will run slow but when I bought a new original charger the problem still remains the same I was confused then I remember that I recently installed a new custom kernel I thought that could be the problem since it had that fast charging option so I reverted to stock kernel still the same problem then I revert back to stock ROM again the same problem and then I changed my ROM to cm11 that's I'm currently using but still I have the same problem its a very strange cause once I noticed that I was charging my phone and it took almost 4.5 hours to recharge it ( I was using it while charging ) my phone battery was stuck on 80-83 for like 20 minutes so I decided to give it a rest so after like 15 minutes I turned it and it was still on 80 but then I noticed it increases to 81 in 4 secs and 82 in more 4 secs and it all recharged to 100 in just like 25 secs I was confused hope you guys can help me.

Welcome to the forums. I would suggest getting a better charger, preferably from the OEM. The charger output is most likely barely sufficient for charging alone. Charging and using the phone is too taxing for that charger, adding excessive heat which is detrimental to the battery.

hello thanks for your reply I do have an original charger I got it from the service center , but still its very annoying when I'm using an app and my phone starts to discharging instead of charging I'm recalibrating my battery and will check if the problem is solved
