Battery problem

My s4 turns off at 20-30% and sometimes restarts at 50-70% and the battery changes to 1%.
It charges from 0 to 100 in less than an hour.
How do i know if this is a battery or software problem?

Hello! You can pick up a second battery, just search amazon. If it does the same thing with a brand new battery, then you know it's the software. Good luck!
