Battery query

It is a well known fact that the battery life of the htc desire hd is pretty lax, after having my phone for a month ish it hasnt overly bothered me. But i just thought i would feel more comfortable if i did have to think about my battery level during the day. I had a look for a longer battery but its really hard to know like what capacity i would need and if the battery will work etc. So if anyone would be able to point me in the right direction that would be great. thanks

I don't want to worry about the hassle of charging my battery midday so I bought the extended life battery for my DINC 2 from Verizon. It's 2150 mAh. With heavy data usage, I'll use up roughly 70% of the battery life over the course of a day. I don't think you will find a wide variety of varying extended life batteries with multiple mAh. But the more mAh the battery has, the longer it will last.
