My Note 8 battery life wasn't the greatest so I bought a ZeroLemon 10000 mAh battery pack/case. I was just curious if I leave it turned on all the time so my phone stays at 100% will that damage my actual phone battery as opposed to only turning it on when the battery gets low since low charge can also damage a battery. Is there some kind of circuit in the phone that automatically cut off the charge when it's full or is this thing constantly charging the battery if I leave it running? I just don't want to shorten the life of the battery one way or the other. Thanks for your help/advice.

There is charge protection, however, Li-Ion batteries do not like to be fully charged. It's not gonna kill two hours of it in a week, but it will reduce its usable life in the very long run. They also like to be used, that is, battery being used and charged and used and charged. Experts suggest to try to keep your battery level full at 80% and use it down to 30 to prolong battery life.
