Battery replacement success

So like everyone else, I've been experiencing some battery drain issues. Fortunately I've avoided the 30% shutdown issue as well as the bootloop issues, but the battery was draining from 100% to under 70% in about 20 minutes of use (bluetooth + location off, brightness 30%). I didn't want to switch as I'm waiting for the Pixel 2 which is only a few weeks from launch, but I also can't live with a phone that has to be tethered to a charger every couple hours. So I had my battery replaced. I went to a shop, had them order the part, came back in a week later and had them do the swap. It took about 20 minutes and that was that. So how's the battery life now? Well, with over an hour SoT, the battery level is at 82% - exactly as good as when I bought it.

Battery replacement: success.

Is the shop you when to a national chain? There's a ubreakifix near my mom's house I've been thinking of taking my 6P to when I come to America again.

This was a local place. If anyone is near Philadelphia I can make a recommendation. They gave me a good deal on it, too. $60 including the part.
