Battery saver is orange all the time

Hi, I thought the battery saver option turned orange only when the battery was down to 15%. I still have 60% battery and it turns orange as soon as I turn the saver on. So I just keep it turned off. Very annoying to have that orange all the time.

Agreed. I leave it off for that reason alone.

You would not normally turn on battery saver unless you are running very low and want to take steps to conserve energy. As it says here https://support.google.com/nexus/answer/2819525?hl=en , " Keep in mind that turning battery saver on reduces your device's performance and limits vibration and most background data."

I think what you want is to leave Battery saver turned off but enable the Turn on automatically function, like this:
