Battery Specs?

Didn't see this posted if anyone still wondered the Battery is 1785 mAh! Not too shabby!

That's what I originally thought too since I saw the accessories and one was a standard battery with 1785 mah. This is the reason why I think this will be the phone I get instead of waiting for the vigor which will probably be 1000mah!. I will of course still get the extended battery as well because it doesn't seem to be too thick from the pics.

MicroUSB is standardized, what you are referring to is MiniUSB and i've seen the chargers you're referring to. A manufacturer that does that, well. sucks.

MicroUSB there's no real way to make them any different, with the exception of I saw over the last few days when i was looking for specific gender changers and extension cables where the MicroUSB for USB 3.0 had a 'notch' or indention on the 'top' of the plug which i believe means that USB 3.0 'only' devices wouldn't work with USB 2.0 MicroUSB cables. Thats just a theory. Everything released so far that is MicroUSB is the same form factor and the only difference is the cable quality between both ends, which really doesn't matter all that much.

QFT. I use all my microusb chargers interchangeably... my bb (work) charger, DInc, Kindle, all charge all my devices nicely. Except my wife's iPhone.

Does anybody know why they aren't already selling the docks, extended battery/cover, etc.? We know they have them already, why not sell them so they will arrive about the same time the phone does? Any websites that already have them?

Not allowed to. 3rd party can, but Verizon cannot sell any accessories until the phone is released most likely due to their own policies (Unless Motorola has anything to do with that).

I asked several different stores if they would sell accessories 'early' and one person would say yes... when they get them, and then was promptly corrected by their supervisor or whoever the 'manager looking' person was standing near them :)

Since cell phone manufacturers started standardizing on Mini and then Micro USB chargers you can use virtually any charger on your phone.

My wife for example uses her old Nokia Intrigue charger from time to time on her DroidX.

I do not miss the days of all those obnoxious proprietary chargers and connectors. Good riddance!
