Charged to 100 %
Got down to 5% after 36 hours
Screen on time of 5hr 58mins

Put on charger at 5% went to 76% after 30mins
100% after 1 hour

Nice.

Got down to 5%
Good way to ruin the battery quickly, 40% should be your panic time - either charge or turn it off. Normal charge point should be 50%. (unless you don't care how quickly you kill the battery - lithiumn batteries ARE NOT deep-discharge batteries).

Oh stop.

I had a Motorola Droid Turbo that I kept plugged in all night, charged to 100 %, let run down, etc.

The battery and charge port lasted almost 5 years.

Why have a phone if you can only use it to 50%???

That's ridiculous.

Unplugged at 93%
Went down to 30% over 20 hours with 5 hours and 8 minutes of SOT.
Charged from 30% to 77% in 20 minutes.

I concur. Battery life has been great on the 7T. 6+ hours of SOT with typical all day use.

But...but..but it doesn't have wireless charging (dummies would say)

That's ridiculous. Limiting your phone usage to 50%, AND recharging the battery many more times will also have a negative imoact.Doing that MIGHT get you an extra couple of months of use out of your battery, and even then it would only come into play if you kept the phone for well over 2 years.
