Battery temp too high on cameraa

[AC Question]

My camera on my S8 comes up with "Exit camera battery temp too high" and closes down so I am unable to take photo's. Any ideas how to fix?

Do a factory reset if that doesn't work get a warranty replacement

I got this today for the first time, but it was the hottest day of the year and my phone did feel really hot after using it outside. Five mins inside and it was ok again

i got it for the first time today, same situation. However, i do NOT want to do a factory reset, and would prefer to avoid returning the phone. So i uninstalled some recently installed crap apps, will see what happens
