Don't charge it above 80% essentially. The wear on the battery is so high after that.

Keep it between 20 percent and 95 , once in awhile 5 percent to 100 for battery calibration, never let battery go dead and charge often , also don't play heavy intense games .

My cousin had J5 2016 for 2.5 years and his battery life now is very good. He is charging phone every night (doesn't matter what % but he usually at the end of the day have above 40%. Now back on my A50. On accubattery it says I have 97% of health after month of usage but I think battery life is same. I do same thing as my cousin but I usually discharge phone to 10% before I connect it to charger. It easy last one day (keep in mind that screen on time is between 8h 30min and 10h, I know I use phone alot...). I don't allow battery to go dead mostly because this battery can't be changed like before (buy new one and replace it) and now phone wasn't turned off for almost a month (684h now ~ 28.5 days). I want to have my phone in best condition, my phones have 0 marks, scratches, dents but battery is Achilles tendon for me.

Samsung announced the A50s today...nothing different from the A50 apart from a ‘prism’ rear panel and a 48MP f/2.0 main camera upgrade.
