Battery usage

I just noticed on my battery usage screen, there is an item for Android system, and it's using 15% of my battery. I don't remember that ever showing up before. My battery is also charging very slowly. Could that be a problem? What is its purpose?

I'm not using any of those. Today is the 1st day I've had the problem. The battery information page lists loads of items that the system supports, but I'm not using any of them. Thanks for looking at the problem for me.
