Ok so I have had a samsung s5 and then the lg g4 and now the note 7. I am not sure if this is a setting issue, am I missing something or is there an issue with the phone.

Under settings/ battery/ battery usage.

It says android system 100%. Now und e app power manager is has some info listed but not a full brake down into the 100%.
I have tried shutting the phone down and charging it all the way up. I have been mostly impressed with the battery life for what I do, at least compared to my s5 and lg g4. But I want to be able to track usage to shut off things I don't want. Am I missing something?

Can you post a screen shot?

Also I would suggest using gsam for more detailed stats

I have used gsam in the past. Especially with my lgg4. I am just trying to see what's up with this.

I am not thinking its fixed but it now shows something. I will post screen shot in a sec. I still don't think its acting right. btw I downloaded gsam so I can see more, but still wondering why the samsung/google version is not showing all.

Looks like some bug in the system. But your battery like looks fine.

Yes and although I can use gsam, the stock should get me something. Other then a hard reset, any suggestions on fixing or who to report it to?

I'm at 67% right now, and my previous phone (Moto X Pure) would be at about the same by this time of day, but that would be after having charged it back up to full already. ;)

I have little issue with production. I also don't feel left out with having gsam. But also would like to have a $36 a month top of the line product not functioning correctly. I also think a factory reset may fix it. Not something I want to do but also don't want to wait longer to do it if it's needed.

Is there a complete restore. Like if I used a ghost drive for a pc. So I don't have to redo Everything?

Gonna do the factory reset. Hate to have set up my phone again. What a pain. This battery thing will drive me nuts. So back to factory.

Ok so we are now back to normal and I have to AGAIN set my phone up. I understand the complexity of going from say lgg4 to a note 7 but is there a way to ghost or duplicate a phone. So I could just reload the mirror? It takes a long time to redo everything.

Back up your data... You can use nova to back up your theme/layout of your icons, etc... And then if you reset restore from backup then use nova to get everything looking the way it used to
