Battery wear an issue to be aware about?

I have a question about the ONE.
My only worry now about the device is battery wear. If it wears down significantly I won't be able to do anything about it right? Is that something to worry about in this device?
By the way if any long-time HTC ONE owners could respond that'd be great.

This was discussed already and like Apple for $200 they will give a refurbished unit.

Stop worrying and enjoy it. Chances are you will either break it or sell it before the battery starts acting up.

Modern smartphone batteries are designed specifically to last about 2 years before starting to lose capacity and not hold a charge, ie, to make sure you upgrade at the end of you're contract.
