What's is going on, I can't even get to lunchtime and at 50% already not picked up phone more then a few times. Sometimes I miss my crappy IPhone.

Gonna have to be a bit more detailed than that, mate. Check your settings, wakelocks etc. Basically check yoself before u wreck yoself u digg.

I hear you bro, so sick of messing with things and getting it all dialed in. got everything on pretty much 15 second timeouts I am using K2 notifications wonder if that is screwing things up.

Noticed you are using Exchange. There is a known bug that causes Exchange to get hung and keep your phone awake. It has happened a few time on mine. When the bug hits mine my battery will drop like a rock. Go to your Accounts, Select your exchange account, and uncheck everything to disable syncing. Reboot your phone and see if the battery drain quits. If it does you can reenable the sync and it should solve the problem, but it will most likely return. It's been a known issue since 4.4.0.

Thanks for the heads up I am going to try this now, I remember reading up on this but thought it would of been fixed in 4.4.2.

Also did you enable ART runtime on the phone since that gave me a lot of extra battery?

I would love to run ART but the one app I use which is not really that much but I need to be able to watch Football at anytime LOL! is Slingbox does not run in ART. Sux!

Hmm my battery life has taken a turn for the worse lately. 35 minutes in from a full charge and it's at 98. Didn't even touch it except for maybe 2 texts.

That is the only reason I'm not running art on my N7. I use slingbox daily while on travel.

What is your signal strength like? That is a HUGE battery killer if your in a poor signal area.

You need a longer sampling time than that, mate. Intermittent Wifi, cell reception can cause it. Also if you disconnect from the charger as soon as it hits 100% it can drop to 99 in a minute. Leave it for a while after it reaches 100%.

Could be the exchange bug. My recommendation would be to boot into safe mode and see what happens. If you get as good as battery life as you did before then you know it's an app causing the problem. Have you installed anything recently?
