Very happy with mine. I get over 30 hours with just under 4 hours of screen time. Essentially, I unplug about 5:30 or 6am and I typically plug back in around 9-10pm and I usually have 40-50% left. Then again, I am not a power user, but probably an average user.

That's about spot on with mine :)
I purchased a spare battery along with my S5, but I've yet to ever use that battery yet.

mine doesnt seem to perform as well as it did on the first day

Not really sure how long I get out of it, but so far my battery life is horrible. Unless I barely use the phone. I'd really like to use the zero lemon extended battery. Those are amazing. Had one on my s3 and sometimes I got 2-3 days out of it. But I'm not sure if I wanna sacrifice my water resistant back so I may just purchase an extended battery.

I hope you at least charge it sometime? It you are storing a Li-ion battery it should be at 40% charge.

steve_ma how do you do on that battery? Does it give you a couple days charge or just a single day? is it worth purchasing?

I think it's an awesome deal. I do not notice any difference between those and the factory battery that came with the phone. According to GSAM they perform the same. I love the convenience of being able to grab 1 or even 2 batteries and I am good to go pretty much any and all the time. Having said that, I don't know that I have yet NEEDED one.

You didn't ask, but at the risk of being "that guy" I'll put it out there anyway..... If I was getting crappy battery life, I would look to fix it before buying more batteries. I'm a weenie like that. The notion that the phone is not running as good as it can would really bother me. If I could not track down and fix it.... I would do a factory reset without hesitation. just my $0.02 Best of luck.

Forgot to answer the second part. Last night I forgot to plug my phone in. So it was not charged for 24 hours by the time I plugged it back in. it was at 29% and it still had ~4 hours left. It had been an average use day. Wifi was on most of the day. 2 hours of blue tooth, two hours of streaming (audio books and music) and 5-6 phone calls. I also have crappy cell service at my house (average 2 bars).

As long as you have a high end phone with a full HD screen, your gonna have bad battery life IMO. My old S3 had horrible battery life from the stock battery. The S5 battery I wouldn't say is horrible, but I wouldn't say it's good either. I'm not a fan of tweaking stuff or lowering the screen brightness or this or that, I'd rather not have to do that. Just my opinion.

My Galaxy Express I used before my S3 had really good battery life. It used to last me the whole day and I could charge it when I went to sleep at night. But, the screen wasn't in full HD.
