No, the Galaxy S5 has a back cover that snaps in place. You need to remove the back to install the sim or SD card. You can also change out the battery in seconds.

, what I need is instructions for removing the back of the Galaxy S5. I have difficulty trying to find the easy way to snap the cover off. Help

Did you watched the video I linked?
If you are and still can't remove back cover take your phone to repair shop.

The instructions in the attached video are perfect. There is a small indentation right above the power button that you can slide your thumbnail into to start pulling it apart. Move your fingernail around the outside easily but firmly and the back will pop straight off. There are no other instructions. It is that easy.
