BBM problems

I am so close to deleting BBM.

I created a new BB ID. I entered all of the required information, email address, password, recovery question, etc., then hit continue. It was on the "Setting up BBM" screen for hours. I fell asleep then woke up and it was still there.

I restarted my phone and the app seemed to be fully functional until I tried to accept an invitation. I clicked accept and nothing happened. My contacts (iPhone and BlackBerry) had to add me.

What is with this BBM Connected Icon?! Whatsapp doesn't need anything like this! The first thing I did was turn it off and things seemed to be working just fine. At some point, BBM stopped receiving messages. One message was sent at 7:03pm and it arrived overnight while I was sleeping. Another was sent at 8:53pm last night and arrived around 6:30am this morning. I turned it on this morning to see if it will make a difference. I hate the icon in the corner!

Also, the app doesn?t save my "show my country and time" and "save chat history" settings. I turn them both on but when I go back into settings they are off.

Has anyone had similar experiences?

BTW, I have a GS4.

Delete it and keep whatsapp. It's obviously not meant for you to have it
