I just purchased 3 of them and a wall charger for $12 from an ebay Hong Kong seller. The batteries look to be of good quality and all and so is the wall charger BUT Samsung has put a resister in there batteries to detect if they are genuine or not when plugged in. The batteries will work as long as they are charged in the wall charger but the phone will not charge them, a pop up comes up saying a non compatible battery has been inserted. The seller was very nice and just refunded the $ and didn't ask for anything back so I got lucky.

If you are running a custom kernel like imnuts it will have a mod that lets them charge. Either way I would not use them.

Does anyone know if this will also be a problem with the mugen battery?

I have a second Samsung battery that came with the desktop charger from Verizon. When I did a battery swap today I got the error, non compatible battery. So it might not be just the aftermarket batteries.
