Be careful what you update

For anyone who runs the app Einstein's Riddle Logic Puzzle by Rottz Games: I have this app installed on my OnePlus 12 which is rooted and running Android 16. I opened UpToDown App Store and it indicated that Einstein's Riddle needed to be updated. So, I updated it, but the next time I ran it, it popped a screen saying something like ‘Get this app from Google Play’, i.e., the update broke the app.

Just a word of warning.
