Beaming Service for Samsung

Anyone else get a new update today for your Verizon S7 Edge. After my phone is running slower and now asking to update the Beaming service for Samsung I've read that it's a battery hog.

Beaming service is just the Samsung Beam feature for transferring data through WiFi Direct. If you don't use that, then it won't eat battery. It does eat battery a lot if left on after use.
