There are also people who are very happy with it. He can't please everyone, and this is still a work in progress. I'm sure in the coming days/weeks there will be quite a few updates being released. He has done a tremendous job in keeping up with the app and publishing updates on a constant basis.

yeah ~ do what people (customers) want. Not what you (developer) like. Anyhow... like I already said, I'm keeping my original until a better version is released or it no longer works with the OS updates. Looks sweet!
Actually the developer is doing what customers want. Customers wanted the font from the lock screen clock of 2.0.1 - they got it right? Just because a few ideas were turned down does not mean that every single customer asked for what you may have preferred.
This thread is getting old fast.
I don't mean to sound like a mod or something, but I think this thread is on the verge of being worthy enough to close. It almost seems like it's turned into a complainfest bashing the developer.
Hence my "this thread is getting old fast".
Perhaps you are right but I figure I'll give it a bit more time with some updates about to hit. I don't mind people voicing their opinions, after all that what a forum is for, but to hear repetitive nonsense and mindless bashing - not what forums are for. At least not this one.
Just updated as well. Glad to see that the smaller home is back. Ran into a small issue with the incorrect time being displayed after the update, but a quick removal/placement of the widget fixed that issue. Interesting new placement of the AM/PM indicator. I almost didn't see it at first
WOW, just as the developer said their was another updated and just like Jeremy said. It adds the smaller home and I think this one is beautiful. It has a perfect balance of the size of the time, weather, hi lo, and date. I Love it more then then original AND I have another row available on my screen. Perfect. Oh and the developer told me he/she will be adding the ability to skin it in the future!
If you dont like the new style, dont update simple as that, you have a perfectly good product. And I see what the person mean about the AM/PM looking slapped on.... kinda. But if you need help figuring out if its am or pm, you need more then a widget.

Otherwise the developer did it his way and it pleased a great many people, got the product back out there, thats business. I now have an app that I like better then the original.

I like what he did on the latest update. Jeremy instead of locking can you take out the last few pages of complaints and leave just the usefully stuff. Some of us like it and want Tamara that we appreciate his work. He has a link to this thread on his tweeter page.

This thread will stay open. People can complain all they'd like, (within reason) just wish they'd have valid reasoning behind it.

I'm really happy that the developer has already released a new redesigned version of his widgets. It shows that he's really committed to keeping this app on the line and keeping his paying customers happy.
Now, granted, the new version is nowhere as polished and clean as the older version.
For instance, the smaller home widgets, when in landscape view, takes up about only a 2x1 space instead of reformatting to fit.
But I still think that this is a really good start, and I can't wait to see how it matures and looks in a few months!

It's fine and dandy that you wouldn't pay for the widgets, but that doesn't mean it wasn't worth it to all the people who actually paid the buck or two for it... one more time, a buck or two...
Unsupported? How do you figure? The dev constantly pushed out updates and instead of just walking away he is still working on improving a new version. What more do you want?
Don't come into this thread and insult any of the members who paid for the app by calling them foolish.
Exactly, it's not that difficult. I really don't understand what all of the fuss is about.
I don't think it's foolish to pay for a widget. What's foolish is paying for something that's a knockoff of someone else's stuff. I commend the guy for having pushed out updates, and for updating the widget set to a new look. Being upset over the C&D and losing what you had though, it's foolish to buy something like this where a C&D kills what you were paying for.
wait their pulling the new version too? and im getting droid in a week, is there a way someone can send me a copy of the old version? (HTC sense inspired)
Again, the app is around $2.00 and what is foolish to you does not mean it was foolish for anyone else on this forum. And for what it's worth, I have not complained once about the C&D from HTC.
We are here to discuss the app itself, not if members of this forum are "foolish". If anyone else can not discuss the app itself feel free to PM me and we can discuss it accordingly since anymore of it here will get your account suspended/banned.
