Been going back and forth between the Note 20 Ultra and the Fold 2 and decided to go with the Fold 2 and placed my pre-order. Needed to try something different and I think I'm really going to like the narrower outter display for one handed use and open it up for media consumption and multitasking.

The Z Fold is a neat device but I don't think it would be good for me...as a primary device, since it's not dust or water resistant and requires extra caution when using. I did order one because I am a real enthusiast for new mobile tech but I'm still questioning my decision.

Make sure you have some type of insurance for this device when you get it.

Yeah because of the no dust or ip rating it's the first time getting the Samsung Care+. But yeah I'm the same being an enthusiast when my work got the first fold for me to try I couldn't stand the small front screen and nasty notch on the main screen I only used it for a week before passing it along to my coworker.

I just returned my Note 20 ultra and preordered the Fold2. The Note is a great device just decided that I wanted the bigger display this time around instead of the Spen. I’m keeping my iPhone as a backup device for when I’m on the water.

I ordered a custom one today and it says it will take 5 weeks. I'm not too sure if I'd like the crease but will give it a go. We have 15 days to return it, right?

That’s a great question. Idk if there’s any difference for a custom order.

I'm an 81 year-old retired guy under house arrest until I can get a Covid vaccine. I figure an old guy who can't go out needs a new toy, so I ordered a Galaxy Fold2. I ordered direct from Samsung and bought a Galaxy Z Fold2 5G (Unlocked) and an Aramid Standing Cover. With a $50 instant credit, trade-in of an S20+, and a military discount, the total cost was $1,348.23 (before sales tax). That's less than a nice cruise (that I can't take).

@Willy_P I 100% agree with your analysis and conclusion. I hope you enjoy it!! My Dad is 86 and just got his very first smart phone...though he went with an iPhone since I introduced him to an iPad a few years back and had familiarity with the OS. Love watching another generation learning this new technology. He was so excited to find a program to take pictures of the flowers around his new house, to identify what the heck they are and how much he's supposed to be watering them.
