Been waiting out on a phone. Is this the (G'z)One?

SO I have been holding out for a new phone for awhile and this beauty shows up. While I do enjoy the latest and greatest, this phone seems like a perfect fit for me. I am not always careful with phones, and a phone to withstand my abuse is definitely a plus. Will it be able to compare with other smartphones out there? Will it be lagging behind?

There has not been much talk about this phone that I have found. But is anyone else interested in this?

root and click delete on Bing! Been waiting on this not long but as soon as I saw it I knew I had to get it. Only thing that made me think about it was the Processor and Camara. Then I thought about the fact it will be very battery freindly unlike most phones and I signed up for two more years with the blood sucker.

Look at it this way, The computers on the Space Shuttle were ALWAYS OLD, and OUTDATED ! They had to endure several years of abuse and simulated take-off's, landings, and radiation. But it still flew.

Im always willing to trade off cutting edge for somthing bulletproof and will be around for the long haul.

I have had the phone for 3 weeks. I work at a Water Polution Control Plant and I have dropped this phone a ton of times, got it wet, sat on it, left it in the sun, so on. Works like the day I got it. Not the fasted phone in the world, but you know a dunk in the water or a trip down the stairs isn't going to put it out of service. Very big change from a BlackBerry, but as I learn, I do like this phone in many ways more.

I aggree it has a lot of extra crap on it, but hoping I will learn about this "rooting" thing soon.
