Best 4g smartphone?

I am using a Storm2 (actually mine works great, except slow browsing, of course), so if you can wait, I guess I can wait! :'(
I also agree that Moto will have it out by July-August after the first fiasco of a non-launch!

Aren't you tired of clicking the screen man? I've only had mine since last February and I'm itching to get a new phone. The Charge looks more and more like an option to me.

i dunno about you but i think anything after first week of august is way to long. Will i still wait? probably, but thats only cause there isnt any other good optinos on verizon.

the EVO 3D is looking to have better specs (for now), and offer 3D, also releasing in SUmmer, and we even have more info on that, than the new Bionic. What gives.

I keep thinking September time frame. Even at August, we have to go through all of May, June, July... That's Just Plain Torture!!!! Besides That, Sanjay (spelling?) said that the Tiered Data Plan should be arriving in 'MID-SUMMER" Not the end of Summer... Sooo... Maybe charge now, bionic later? I am so confused...

Nay, I like the "click;" it gives me that feedback I like...the other screens are like a bird pecking for seed, ha! I will gladly give it up for a BIG screen, and fast internet. The Charge just doesn't have the specs I am hoping for + I don't like the physical buttons.

Wow to the Poor Benchmarks the Charge is getting compared to the GS II.... Again I can't help but wonder why Big Red is getting the short end of the stick with every manufacturer except Moto?

Sensation>Thunderbolt
GSII>Charge
G2X>Revolution

Simple, Verizon feels that since they offer the best network they can just skimp on phones and not get the latest and greatest right away. A lot of people want a better smartphone, but most realize that its primary function is still a phone and going to network with crappy signal strength and constantly dropping calls ends up being a huge pain in the ass. So while you have a lot of us who are upset about having to wait a long time for a new phone that is worth a damn to us, we are still waiting because we know the alternative is a cool phone that doesn't work quite as well when it comes to making calls.

Plus I guarantee you they are patting themselves on the back about finally getting Apple to bring the iPhone to their network. Probably feel like they deserve a break and shouldn't have to worry about getting the best phones from the other companies.

That's not actually why.

The reason the LTE phones aren't the newest and fastest processors, screens, etc. is because they've literally been in development for over a year.

Ignore the benchmarks. They're not accurate. The Charge is faster than the Bolt, even though it has a lower Quadrant score.

I have to agree with the sentiment that LTE is losing it's appeal, to me at least. Obviously they are sufferring from early growing pains so it might be best to wait a couple years before it matures.

Although I am not one for patience and would probably drop money on the Bionic if it gets rave reviews. :-) However, I am strongly considering the GS2 still. It all depends on when these phones are released.

I will rather wait a couple of years with A Dual Core 4G capable phone.

I've heard that the low benchmarks for the Charge are due to the file system it uses (a non--native file system that Quadrant doesn't like or know how to handle). The same issue is with the Fascinate. When porting custom ROM that includes the native file system to the Fascinate, it's Quadrant scores went from around 900 to around 1800. I would expect the same to happen with the Charge. As far as the GSII, it already has the native file system, thus the higher scores. Either way, I wouldn't worry about the Quadrant score on the Charge.

What do you think the best 4g smartphone is now that a couple other phones have come out and info has been released on the Bionic.
