Best 8in Android Tablet?

Hey guys!

I'm currently doing some last minute Christmas shopping for my girlfriend. I'm looking for the best 8in android tablet. Here's my requirements:

Price: MAX $300

Use Cases:
She mainly streams music,
reads via kindle,
social media (facebook, insta, skype)
and plays lightweight games (angry birds, cut the rope etc.)

Having a beautiful screen is also pretty important. What would you guys recommend? I have about 4 days to make a decision (gives me time to order on Amazon and have it arrive in time for Christmas via Prime).

Nvidia Shield Tablet is the best tablet available at any price IMO, happens to be inexpensive and 8". It starts at $199.

I say the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is the BEST 8 inch Android tablet at the moment as it is very powerful and high end and has a fantastic display which is 2560x1600 and is eye candy looking at text, photos and watching videos, more and the BEST bit is the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 only cost about 200/250 pounds, euros which makes it a bargain!!!

I have and been using the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 for over a year since May 2014 and i am still very happy with it and it is still in great condition!!
